Errors
Amputations are a simple subject when it
comes to medical malpractice, and don't need much explanation.
Believe it or not, doctors often cut off the wrong limb.
Imagine it. As if life is not traumatic enough. You need your left leg
amputated. The anesthetic sets in and you go under, trusting the masked doctor
in blue scrubs to save your life. You wake up and feel for your left leg. It is
still there! And then you feel for your right leg, and it's missing.
As you come out from being sedated and regain your vocal ability, you moan to
the nurse that they got the wrong leg. Quickly you are whisked off back to the
operating room. Next time you wake up you are missing both legs.
